Samsung is reportedly preparing the three new devices that will be the new Galaxy S10 series, one of which will be able to offer access to 5G networks.

At the same time, the Korean company reportedly is preparing the expected smartphone for quite some time now. All of the revelations were made in Bloomberg from an unnamed source, most likely a Samsung executive.

The basic model of the Galaxy S10, according to Bloomberg, will feature a 5.8-inch AMOLED diagonal screen and a triple main camera that features a “normal” lens, a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. Additionally, it will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and a front camera that will also be located below the screen.

The Plus model of the series will have the same basic features as it will have a larger diagonal screen. The S10’s ‘financial’ device will feature a flat AMOLED screen and probably a fingerprint scanner on the side. The article does not mention anything about the cameras but we could assume that it will feature a main camera consisting of a lens.

With regard to Samsung’s foldable smartphone, Bloomberg says it will be the company’s drive to dominate a new market, which however has the potential to grow in the future. We should not forget that until now no manufacturer has presented a device with a foldable screen while Huawei promises to present its own soon.

From Korea, similar publications confirm the existence of the in-display fingerprint scanner in the Galaxy S10 series. At the same time, there is the talk of differentiating the devices according to the processor they will “wear”. According to the Korean website ETNews, there will be a difference in the design of the Exynos processor models from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.

The Korean publication does not mention the type of processors selected by Samsung for the Galaxy S10 series, but Samsung has already announced it is ready to go ahead with the 7nm processor architecture (Exynos). In addition, TSMC will take on the construction of 7nm processors for Qualcomm, which will equip the next Android flags, and therefore the Galaxy S10 family in some markets.

The Galaxy S10 family is expected to make its official appearance either at the beginning of January at CES 2018 in Las Vegas or at the end of February during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona.

The reputation that the new Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone series will be made up of three devices is known and has been around for quite some time.

With a new leak, the well-known tipster Evan Blass has released the renders and dimensions that the new devices will likely have. According to Blass’s own suspension, this is actually a mix of actual renders of the device combined with designs that represent what a particular bucket manufacturer expects. However, the post does not state who this bucket manufacturer is.

In any case, the image that makes the Internet round refers to three devices that appear equipped with an in-display camera at the center of the top of the screen. The first is the Galaxy S10 Lite, followed by the mainstream Galaxy S10 and finally the Galaxy S10 +. The first two appearances with a single front camera while the third one appears to have a dual selfie camera.

The Galaxy S10 Lite, the Beyond 1 / SM-G973F the Galaxy S10 and the Beyond 2 / SM-G975F the Galaxy S10 + are also featured in the device design/renders. The S10 Lite will be the smallest with a diagonal screen of 5.8 inches, that is, the same diagonal as the Galaxy S9, although the margins appear to be even more limited. This may translate into even smaller overall dimensions for the new device.

The Galaxy S10 will have a diagonal screen of 6.1 inches and maybe overall dimensions similar to the current S9, while the Galaxy S10 + is said to have the largest screen that will reach 6.4 inches.

It is worth mentioning that additional rumors want Samsung to prepare another device in the S10 series but will have upgraded, premium features and will be launched after the three standard series devices. The Galaxy S10 Lite, the Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10 + are expected to be presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February, while the premium is rumored to be announced in March or April 2019.

Rumors call for the premium version of the series to have similar technical features to its other siblings but with a differentiation in construction materials. While the three basic models will be made of metal and glass, the premium S10 will be made of ceramic materials and a metal frame on the side. Additionally, this device is rumored to have a main camera consisting of four sensors and two sensors that will make up the selfie camera. Finally, the premium S10 will stand out as it will support access to 5G networks while its screen will reach 6.7 inches.
